General Rules & Regulations

The Laird Institute of Spa Therapy is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of professionalism.  At orientation a student information packet detailing school policies and procedures will be issued to each student.  Each student must obey all rules and regulations of the school.  Failure to do so may result in suspension or dismissal without a refund of any payments made. The Laird Institute of Spa Therapy does not tolerate:

  • The use of alcoholic beverages or narcotics on the premises
  • Any unlawful actions related to smoking in public areas, smoking is confined to specific areas
  • Any disrespect towards any staff, instructors, students, or guests will not be tolerated
  • Excessive absences and/or tardiness constitute reason for disciplinary action

Violators of accepted good conduct rules will be warned, or possibly dismissed, depending on the severity of the infraction.  Professional behavior is expected at all times.  Students whose conduct the school regards as seriously detrimental to the best interests of the school such as cheating, theft, abusive language will result in suspension or expulsion from the school.

Students are required to meet the minimum hours of attendance outlined in the Attendance Policy, meet the academic requirements outlined in the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy, and, all rules, regulations, institutional, or state policies related to their attendance at Laird Institute of Spa Therapy.
